Enter Greek
letters with your Roman keyboard and add diacritics after the letters,
in a manner similar to betacode, in this order:
1. ( rough breathing, ) smooth breathing, + diaeresis, _ macron, - breve
2. / acute, \ grave, = circumflex
3. | iota subscript
and punctuation with ?, :, <<, >>, ``, ' ', comma comma, space right-bracket
Intended for short texts only. Copy and paste your input into other
documents. In longer texts Mozilla now scrolls to the bottom (better
than the default top). In recent versions of IE and Mozilla you can
insert letters and diacritics at any point. If your text has vertical
scrollbars, IE will briefly highlight the text after any keyboard
input. This is part of how it keeps its place. Enlarge the text area to
avoid this effect. You may also open the table of Greek Letters and
click on the letters needed. (Opera 6 users - click outside the box to
convert your keyboard input and note that some features including font
selection are not available.)
