La cosa più positiva è il colore (tecnologia kaleido). Per essere un e-ink è di tutto rispetto la resa del colore. In particolare la visualizzazione di fumetti risulta più che soddisfacenteThe most positive thing is the color (kaleido technology). For an e-ink, the color rendering is very respectable. Ovviamente non dobbiamo aspettarci da un display e-ink la stessa brillantezza di uno schermo lcd, a cui non è nemmeno paragonabile. Tuttavia questo InkPad consente una lettura gradevole e scorrevole di fumetti e di altri testi (epub e pdf) a coloriOf course, we shouldn't expect from an e-ink display the same brilliance as an LCD screen, to which it is not even comparable. Bisogna dire che la dettatura con Google Gboard è abbastanza soddisfacente come velocità, mentre la digitazione da tastiera o la scrittura a mano libera risentono molto della tipica lentezza di un dispositivo a inchiostro elettronicoHowever, while dictation with Google Gboard is quite satisfactory in terms of speed, typing from the keyboard or handwriting suffer a lot from the typical slowness of an electronic ink device.

Ma il motivo che mi ha spinto a restituirlo è un motivo che non si può imputare ai costruttori di questo dispositivo. Perché quasi certamente non riguarda solo questo dispositivo, ma caratterizza qualsiasi dispositivo android: la sua non utilizzabilità per la scrittura/elaborazione di testi complessi. Quali sono quelli di chi fa un lavoro intellettualeBut the main reason that prompted me to return it, is a reason that cannot be attributed to the manufacturers of this device. Because it almost certainly does concern not only this device, but any android device: its non-usability for writing/processing complex words. Which are those of those who do intellectual work.
